- At the VDMA Preparation Technology / Biomass Processing Practical Days you will find interesting expert presentations and guided tours for visitors to give the machine and plant suppliers a chance to showcase their products and services for the production of biomass.
- A new feature of Entsorga-Enteco in 2009 is the planned Piazza in Hall 9. This attractive area combines well-known elements: panel discussions, the Buyers' Lounge and the Speakers’ Corner.
In a relaxed atmosphere you will have the opportunity to listen to the various expert presentations, experience the exhibition “CO2 — A substance and its history” or enjoy a short break in the catering area.
- Another new feature is the “Day for the water industry”. Here you can expect interesting presentations as part of a water and wastewater symposium addressing current topics including “Flood management, demonstrated by the city of Cologne”, “Energy production from sewage sludge” or “Sewage modernisation in industry/for residents”.
- The plans also include an opportunity for companies to present their wide range of municipal vehicles live, in an arena in the outdoor area under the motto “M.U.V. in Motion”. In an accompanying exhibition some vehicles from each participating company will be presented — an optimal opportunity to gain a comprehensive overview.
- Furthermore there shall take place a Great-Britain-Day and an East-Europe-Day - "GO EAST" for the first time at Entsorga-Enteco 2009. Experts of the various countries are invited and the structure of the british and accordingly eastern european waste- and environment markets are presented.
"Opportunities and risks of investment for german companies" is an other theme which will be highlighted and discussed.
- Under the main slogan “Active company succession”, Entsorga-Enteco is offering in cooperation with HMO Management Consult, the experts in succession consultation, special information for all visitors and exhibitors on the topic of company succession.
